17-yr-old Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist caught in J&K

Srinagar: A teenage fidayeen of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), who was a member of a terrorist group which attacked an army camp in Tanghdar in Kupwara district on November 25, was caught alive on Thursday.

Mohammad Sadiq Gujjar, 17, a resident of Sialkot in Pakistan, was nabbed in a joint operation by Army, Rashtriya Rifles and J&K police with a huge quantity of arms and expolsives.

He was a member of the Afzal Guru squad of JeM and had reportedly told his interrogators that the Tanghdar attack was launched from Athmuqam in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK).

Sources say that Afzal Guru squad of JeM is very active and was a part of the terror team that attacked Pathankot air base.

Gujjar was active in Baramulla area for the past 15 days and was put under surveillance, which led to his arrest
