Bhopal: A 12-year-old boy faked his own kidnapping and demanded ransom from his uncle to get money for his sister’s wedding and take revenge from his uncle who used to scold him in Guna district.

Sources said, the police tracked the boy through the ransom SMS that he sent to his uncle.

Reports state that the boy’s uncle used to look after the family as his father was mentally unstable.

The boy was reportedly irked as his uncle used to scold him. The boy told the police that he had planned to spend the ransom money on his sister’s marriage.

The boy had demanded Rs 3 lakh from his uncle.
