Bihar :A poultry hub in Bihar’s Siwan district, popularly known as ‘royal egg farm’, has become the talk of the town owing to production of, as many as, 10,000 eggs daily.
Already having won number 1 spot in layer-farming sector in the state, this poultry farm accommodates more than 11,000 chicken. On an average, these chicken produce more than ten thousand eggs in a day.
The layer-farming hub’s Chief Operator Mohammed Shahid told reporters of Bhaskar that for each chicken in the farm to produce one egg on a daily basis, they have to bear a cost of Rs 600 everyday.
In order to do away with labour costs, the egg farm owners are mulling to automate the functioning of the poultry hub.
