One of India’s leading Fashion and Fitness Photographer, Bengaluru-based Nikos Narkissos has come up with the second edition of his Fitness Calendar “Body Sculpt for 2018” Several fitness enthusiasts are featured in this calendar as it provides a platform for budding fitness models based in South Asia.
The cover boy for this year’s calendar is Shimoga’s Fitness Star Mr. Lion 2017 Sandeep Shashikumar. He was Mr. Bangalore Sreshtha 2011, a 3 time-winner of Mr Bangalore and Mr Shramajeevi, Malenadu Shree 2013, Mr Karnataka Fitness Academy winner for 2015 and Runner up for Mr Karnataka 2016. Nikos says Sandeep is an excellent poser besides having a sculpted body!
Bangalore’s Sharon Rose opens “The Body Sculpt 2018” calendar as the January Girl. She hails from Vizag and had entered Femina Miss India 2016 in Bangalore, Hyderabad as well as Kolkata and emerged as a finalist in all the contests. Sharon believes that unless women keep themselves fit they can’t keep their families fit. Now a successful fashion model this former beauty queen is also a fitness expert.
Called the Czarina of Indian fitness Miss Bikini 2016, 2017 Ankita Singh features in the calendar as well. She is the pride for Bangalore and one of the most renowned names of female fitness in India. She not only won Miss Bikini title for two consecutive years but she was also Miss India Fitness for two consecutive years in 2014 and 2015. Daughter of an Uttar Pradesh MLA, she broke barriers and traditions to finally represent India in various international competitions. She is a qualified engineer from M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology and was formerly working with Accenture.
Bengaluru-based Swatantra Ahuja who is an engineer makes his fitness modeling debut in this Calendar. He believes that being highly qualified and working in the busy corporate world should not deviate you from your own personal fitness goals. One has to aim being fit and figure time for oneself!
The calendar also features Runner at Pro Asian Bodybuilding Championship 2017, Singapore , Poorna Chandran who hails from Chennai and is presently working for the Indian railways. He is also taking care of his family since he lost his father. Poorna has represented India in Mr. World 2015 at El-Salvador, where he was placed 6th.
Also, Lucknow’s Bineet Bose has worked in India and Nepal. He quit his job to pursue his dreams of becoming an Indian fitness athlete. This Lucknow born muscle man went on to win Muscle Mania 2016 held in Mumbai.
Face of India 2017 Winner Pearl Almeida also features in the calendar.
Angelo Sandri is an India born Italian athlete. Based in Verona Italy and Goa, he has been a football player. He won the Muscle Mania India 2014 and Muscle Mania Rimini 2016 titles in Italy.
This year also marks the debut of three Sri Lankan Fitness Heroes in the calender.
Kelaniya Niroshana Hettiarachi Runner Up to Mr Colombo 2017, who is one of the most promising names in Sri Lankan Fitness Industry, Kandy’s Mohamed Ziyad Majeed Mohamed Jawath who is 2nd runner up to Mr. Kandy 2017 and First runner Up in Sri Lankan Central Province Body building Competition 80 kgs 2017. Martial Art Expert and Upcoming Actor Imal Ranawaka who features in the Calendar. This year Canadian/Israeli Supermodel Jonathan Aaron Fournier also features in the calendar.
