Mangaluru: Rotary Club Foundation Day and award function to felicitate three achievers was held on Wednesday, February 23 at Utsav Hotel here.
The President of Club and Spearhead Media Director Canute J. Pinto spoke on the establishment of Rotary Club and its growth.
Lakshmish Bhandary (social service), Francis Maxim Moras (Traffic Management) and Vidya Kishor Bagladi (stamp collection) were the three achievers who were awarded awards from the club for their unique contributions to society.
Satish Bolar was the Chief Guest of the programme. He appreciated the achievement of the three achievers and congratulated Rotary Club. Further, he said Rotary Club has a history of 118 years.
Francis Maxim Moras showed gratitude towards Rotary Club for the recognition given to him. Rotary Club Director Dr Ranjan R. K., Club Founder Secretary Prashanth Rai, and Secretary Basavakumar N. T. were present.
