Bidar: September 8th  is a special day for all the Mangalorean Catholics wherever they are.  Even in Bidar at Anugraha Church dedicated to St. Francis of Assisi under the care of Capuchin Friars celebrated it in a befitting manner.

Besides, Monthi Fest celebration, the newly elected parish council was established on this occasion.  37 children between the age group of 1- 10 were baptized by Msgr. Stany Lobo, the vicar general of Gulbarga Diocese.

Newly professed Rev. Sr. Shilpa of Sisters of charity was felicitated by the parishioners. All those who gathered numbering 225 were served a sumptuous  meal sponsored by generous benefactors.
