Mangaluru: Union Minister for Steel Ram Chandra Prasad Singh laid the foundation stone and undertook bhoomipoojan for Coke Oven Plant at Blast Furnace Unit of KIOCL Ltd., Panambur here on Sunday February 20.

KIOCL Chairman and Managing Director T. Saminathan, Ministry of Steel Joint Secretary T. Srinivas and other officials were present on the occasion.

KIOCL had entered into a contact agreement and tripartite agreement for setting up of 1,80,000 TPA heat recovery coke oven plant at blast furnace unit (BFU) of the company in November 2021.
