Mangaluru: St Alphonsa Sauharda Co-operative Society in Kankanady, is set to be inaugurated on Oct 8 2023 at 11 a.m. in the St Alphonsa Church hall.

The event will be graced by Naveen R D Souza, Corporator of Bendur Ward, who will inaugurate the society. Rev. Fr Mani Veluthedathuparambil will bless the occasion. The guests of honour will include Bharati G Bhat, Director of KSSCL Bangalore; Guruprasad Bangera, Sr Officer of KSSCL Bengaluru; Vijay B S, Development Officer of KSSCL Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Districts; Ln. A Suresh Rai, President of D K Zilla Okkutta Souhards Sahakari, Niyamitha, Mangaluru; and Jithin Jijo, CEO of the Institute for Study and Development of Co-operation.

After the formal inauguration, F D certificates will be distributed to the beneficiaries. M V James, President of the Society, will preside and deliver the presidential address.
