Mangaluru: St Aloysius College (Autonomous) in association with Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Intellectual Property Management (RGNIIPM), Government of India, Nagpur, Under National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission, organised a National Level Online Workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) & Patents and Designs filing” on 3 October 2023 through hybrid Mode.
Dr Bharat N Suryawanshi, Assistant Controller of Patents and Designs, RGNIIPM, Nagpur, was the resource person for the day. Dr Bharat N Suryawanshi spoke about Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), patents, Inventions and designs. He spoke about how individuals can invent their own product(s) and how the product(s) must be designed. He encouraged participants to use their creativity in inventing or designing something and explained that you don’t have to have a particular degree to invent or design product(s).
About 240 participants took part in this workshop.
