Mangaluru: Rosario Cathedral, held a silent protest on  July 23 2023 to express solidarity with the suffering people of Manipur and to pray for the unrest to cease.

Rosario parishioners prayed for peace in Manipur during the Eucharistic Mass and gathered in large numbers outside the church’s main gate. Fr Alfred Pinto, Parish Priest of Rosario Cathedral led the protest. Fr Vinod Lobo, Fr Santhosh Dsouza, Vice President of Rosario Parish Pastoral Parishad, John Dsilva, President of Catholic Sabha Rosario Unit, Jane Rosario and others were present.
