Bengaluru: Thomas Cheriyan Neeliyara, a Law graduate from Mangalore University, settled in Bangalore for the last 25 years, a former Minority Morcha member and Prabhari to Kerala, also a former Syndicate member of Bangalore University.

Neeliyara is one of the shortlisted BJP candidates for the Sarvajna Nagara constituency.

Thomas (Suresh) Neeliyara, was originally a resident of Gandibagilu Village in Belthangady Taluk. BJP fielding a Minority candidate against a sitting congress MLA may yield a better result. It may help BJP for the coming Loksabha election results too. 

Sarvajna Nagara is also thickly populated by the Minority community.
