Mangaluru: Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath on Tuesday May 10 performed Bhoomi Pooja for the construction of a four-lane smart road from Maarnamikatte to Koti Chennaiah Circle.

The Smart City Project costs about Rs. 5 Crore. The project falls under Ward 55 of Mangaluru City Corporation limits.

MCC Mayor Premananda Shetty, Karnataka Fisheries Development Corporation Chairman Nitin Kumar, Corporator Shailesh Shetty, other department officials, local people’s representatives and the general public were present on the occasion.
