Dubai: A spectacular ceremony was organized at Mussalh Tower, UAE by Indian Cultural society to celebrate the good performance of the SDPI in the recently concluded Gram Panchayat Elections. The program was inaugurated with a rendering of a victory song composed by Akbar Ali.
The program was presided over by the president of Indian cultural society Karnataka unit Janab Nasirkaraje.
Popular front of india’s Karnataka state President Muhamad Shakib was the chief guest. Vice president Muhammad Saphi Hubli welcomed the guests and gathering. Nasirkaraje who presided over the function, congratulated the village Panchayat winners, also the party cadres and the voters who supported and backed SDPI candidate to win the election.
SDPI backed candidates won a total of 373 seats came second in 133 seats and third in 137 seats he explained.
SDPI has emerged as the third largest party in the Coastal Karnataka region. Party activists should start preparing right away for the upcoming BBMP Elections to be held soon in Bangalore. He also explained about the Social Services conducted by Indian Cultural society workers at UAE.
The chief guest PFI Karnataka State President Muhammad Sakib explained the need of SDPI in India. India is the world’s largest democracy, and we must be proud of being its citizens, he said. However, that about 50 million people in the country still live below the poverty line is a tragedy, he said.
India is a secular country and is slowly turning into communal country, people live in an atmosphere of fear and this fear is been created everywhere. Even after ruling the country for 60 years the parties have failed to give good governance, he said.
SDPI is fighting for the protection of the rights of people of all classes. SDPI has a wide range of support for its voterfriendly and transparent views and is getting Extensive support everywhere today. Hence, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, has soon emerged as the fourth largest party.
