Mangaluru: The ICYM Episcopal City Deanery, in collaboration with ICYM Tannirbhavi unit, celebrated Friendship Day “Yaaron Ka Diwas – 2K19” on Sunday, August 4 at 3.30 PM at the Tannirbhavi Tree Park.
The programme commenced at 4 PM with a prayer song led by the members of ICYM Tannirbhavi Unit.
Rev. Fr Anil Pinto – Director, ICYM Episcopal City Deanery, in his message to the gathering, explained the importance of friendship and unity among the youths.
On the occasion, “birthday buddies” of August celebrated their day by cutting a cake and sharing their joy and happiness.
An Ice breaker session was conducted by Fr Anil Pinto. Games such as gunny bag race, snatch the bottle, photo pose, tug of war, catching the balloon were conducted by the executive members of ICYM Episcopal City Deanery.
On the whole, “Yaaron Ka Diwas – 2K19” was a fun filled memorable evening of making new friends, games and entertainment.
Enola Lesny Coelho, Tannirbhavi welcomed the gathering. Fr Anil Pinto thanked all the members of the ICYM Episcopal City Deanery for their active participation in the programme. Enola Lesny Coelho compered the programme.
Leon Loyed Saldanha, Bendur – Diocesan Youth President, ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Minol Mrinaline Braggs – Public Relations Officer, ICYM Mangalore Diocese and Diocesan Youth Representative for ICYM Episcopal City Deanery from ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Delitia Asumptha Pereira – President, ICYM Episcopal City Deanery and 90 youths were present.
