Mangaluru: AT8KLH, an event is being organised by HAM Operators to commemorate 120 years of Kapu Light House, 75 years of Indian Independence,  100th year of Amateur(HAM) Radio in India, and 23rd India’s Amareur Radio at Lighthouses(IN0023) from August 14. The event will be held till August 22.

In the event that was coordinated by QSL Manager Lion Ajoy VU2JHM, Director General of Lighthouses & Lightships N. Muruganandan was present. He was excited to meet the HAM fraternity and know more about their activities.

Muruganandan was accompanied by Rajesh Das, Deputy Director, Goa, P. S. Mahtoe AE (E), GOA, H. H. Khazi Navigation Assistant Grade II, Goa, Manish Jha, Technician (E), Goa and Sudhish Kumar, Navigation Assitant Grade II, Kapu Lighthouse.
