Mangaluru: The Feast of Infant Jesus Shrine at Alangar was celebrated on Jan 8, 2023. Most Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul Dsouza, Bishop Emeritus  Diocese of Mangalore being the main celebrant presided over the Eucharistic Celebration. Fr Richard Dsouza, Associate Priest of Sacred Heart Church,  Surathkal preached the word of God.  In his homily, he highlighted the theme ” To be the proclaimers of Faith”.

He emphasised on  Revelation of God in different stages at different levels. The self-manifestation of Christ calls us for transformation. Being transformed we are called to Proclaim Christ through our words and deeds. We are called to Proclaim Christ by inculcating the virtues of Faith, Hope, Love, Peace and being humane in our words and deeds.

Very Rev. Fr Onil Dsouza, Vicar Vara of Moodubidri Deanery, and priests from the varado concelebrated. After the Eucharistic celebration, Bishop honoured the Muddoms who contributed generously to the Celebration. Parish priest Fr Walter Dsouza thanked all those who worked and contributed to the festal celebration.  After the mass food was served to all the Devotees at Alangar. More than 2000 Devotees actively participated in the Celebration.
