YIASCM, Balmatta holds Fruit Mixing ceremony – 2022

Mangaluru: The Department of Hospitality Science of the Yenepoya Institute of Arts, Science, Commerce & Management organized a Fruit Mixing Ceremony on Dec 12 at 02:30 p.m. at its campus in Balmatta.
Prajna, HR Manager was the Chief Guest for the event along with Dr Arun Bhagwath, The Principal, Mervin Vas, HOD- the Department of Hospitality Science, Dr Balakrishna Kalluraya, HOD- of the Department of Chemistry, Narayan Sukumar, HOD- Department of Computer Science, Bhavyashree Rai, HOD- Department of Forensic Science, Joel P. Joseph, HOD- Department of Food Science and Nutrition, Dr Rathnaker Shetty, Nodal officer, Academic Bank of Credits, YIASCM,  Medha Pai, Convenor, Vikas Anchan, Student Coordinator who were on the dais.
Shibili briefed on the history of fruit mixing, Dr Arun Bhagwath, delivered the presidential address followed by the chief guest, Prajna who congratulated and encouraged the students to continue with the good work.
Thereafter, all the dignitaries, faculty members and students participated in the fruit-mixing ceremony where some of them found coins which would fetch them a prize.
The student group also organised carol singing along with Santa, who was the special attraction of the day.
Fathimath Fasila hosted the event.
The management expressed its kudos to the hospitality students for the good work!
