Mangaluru: Yenepoya University organised an inaugural Programme for the 2015-16 batch of MBBS and BDS students on August 10.
The Chief Guest for the programme was Prof. K. Byrappa, Hon’ble  Vice Chancellor, Mangalore University.

Prof. K. Byrappa in his inaugural speech stressed the importance of inter disciplinary approach to scientific problems. He welcomed the students and staff of Yenepoya University to Mangalore University and urged them to utilize the facilities of Mangalore University for collaborative research work.

The Hon’ble Chancellor of Yenepoya University Mr. Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi presided over the function.

The Vice Chancellor, Dr.M. Vijaykumar also spoke on the occasion. The Deans of the Dental College Dr. B.H. Sripathi Rao and Medical College Dr. Moosabba gave their valuable advice to the new students.

Dr. C.V. Raghuveer, Registrar welcomed the gathering while Controller of Examination, Prof. K.P. Jayarajan proposed the Vote of thanks.

Dr. Mallika Shetty and Dr. Ashwin Shetty compered the programme.
