Mangaluru: Yenepoya University Centre for Environmental Studies organised a workshop on ‘Vermicomposting’, Earthworm fertilizer production on the occasion of world environment day on June 8.

Prof Harish Joshi was the key speaker on the subject. He spoke about the importance of Vermicomposting, or worm composting and its role on making fertile soil.

University staff were present on the occasion.

Assistant director of the centre Dr Bhagya B Sharma organised whole programme.
