Mangaluru: Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) organized its first ever  Alumni Futsal Tournament. The first ever Alumni Futsal Tournament Saw a total 5 Teams, 60 Alumni battling for the coveted for the Trophy.  The event was inaugurated at 10 AM by Mr Bava, the Finance Officer who is also the Chairman of the sports committee 

Prof.Padma Kumar,Principal, YPC was present also present for the inaugural ceremony. He also expressed his unending support by being present throughout the tournament.

The Prize Distribution Ceremony began at 6.15 PM. Javed Yenepoya, Director, Yenepoya Specilaity Hospital did the honours. Shashi Nair and Prof. Padma Kumar were present. The Winners’ title was secured by YUAA Dentigers, who were Mentored Dr.B.H.Sripathi Rao.

The Runners Up of the tournament was YUAA Rebels, who were Mentored Dr M.Vijayakumar, Vice Chancellor, Yenepoya -Deemed to be University. The team was head by Dr.Nazeel Rabwa. The third Place was secured by YUAA Physio’s, Yenepoya-Deemed to University, Mentored by Dr.K.S.Gandhara Somayaji Sir, Registrar Yenepoya – Deemed to be University. The team was headed by Mr.Nasru
