Mangaluru: A one-day workshop organized by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi on “AICTE Model Curriculum for BE-First Year Courses” was held at Sahyadri Campus, Mangaluru.

Over 600 faculties from various colleges of Mysore and Mangalore region teaching first year engineering attended the workshop.

Vice Chancellor of Mangalore University Dr. K Byrappa, Registrar of VTU Dr. H.N Jagannath Reddy, BOS Chairman of Basic Sciences & Engineering Board were present during the occasion. The topics related to Outcome Based Education, Course Outcome and Blooms Taxonomy were dealt with during the day long workshop.

Dr. Manjunath Bhandary, President, Bhandary Foundation, Dr. D L Prabhakar – Director, Dr. U M Bhushi – Director-Strategic and Planning, Dr. R Srinivasa Rao Kunte – Principal were also present in the programme.
