Mangaluru: Rangasangathi in a joint collaboration with Canara PU College will be performing two plays namely, “Bhootakalada Kathe” and “Samipge Nagar Police Station”, in its campus on December 19 and 20.

On December 19 at 6.30 PM a play named “Bhootakalada Kathe” which is based on one of the English novel by Vijay Dendeth will be performed by the students of the college. This play is directed by U Mohanchandra.

On December 20 at 6.30 PM “Sampige Nagar Police Station” will be performed by the artistes from Rangasangathi. The play is written by Shashiraj Kavoor and directed by U Mohanchandra.

For both the plays have music composition composed by Mime Ramdas.

Lakshman Kumar Malluru, Chandrahasa Ullal, Gopinath Bhat, Santhosh Shetty, Sudhakar Salian, Ranjan Boloor, Prabhakar Kapikad, Muralidhar Kamath, Srinivas Kuppila, Mime Ramdas, Shashiraj Rao Kavoor are the aritists who will be performing in the plays.

Meantime, the dean and the president of Rangasangathi Gopalkrishna Shetty has given a call to all the play enthusiast to join the event in good numbers.
