Suraj Educational and Charitable Trust, Mudipu has come as a silver lining in the lives of thousands of rural students aspiring to get quality education.
Precisely, started with the vision -‘Towards competitive world, with qualitative education’, Suraj Education Trust has successfully given modern perspective to rural education and over the resplendent 15 years of its existence, it has empowered thousands of lives.
Suraj Educational and Charitable Trust runs Suraj International Higher Primary School till 7th standard, Jnanadeepa High School from Class 8 to Class 10 and Suraj PU College for Pre University level in premises located at Pajir, Mudipu, located 25 kms away from Mangaluru, in Bantwal Taluk.
The institutions are run under able chairmanship of Suraj Jewels Palace proprietor Dr Manjunath S Revankar. He is ably supported by his wife Hemalatha M Revankar, who is the convener of the Trust and their son Suraj M Revankar, who is the Director of the Trust.
The institutions are located away from city’s hustle-bustle making way for better learning for the students. However, there has been no compromise in terms of quality of education and infrastructure.
The Trust, which has been emphasising on value-based education, has been making special space for free education of backward children. As many as 820 students are studying at the institutions paying subsidized fees. The social commitment of the Trust and the quality of education provided has been certified by International Organisations for Standardisation-ISO 9001:2008.
