Theme of the seminar
Youth are the most vital human resource of the Nation on whom the present and the future of the country depends. Through their creative talents and manpower, a nation makes giant strides in economic development and socio-political growth. The responsibility for change, progress and innovation lie in the youth. Youth power, if channelized in the right direction can bring positive change & growth in our country while, on the other hand, negative vibes of youth will hinder the growth of the country. We need to strengthen our youth by providing them an education which makes them creative, logical, open-minded, self-disciplined, responsible and honest. Without developing these virtues, our youth cannot walk in the desired way of growth. There is a need for empowering youth to fulfill their potential through mentoring and life skill training.

Through positive churning, change can be brought among the youth but, in reality, are today’s Youth truly Catalysts in Social Change? Should our education system be rebuilt on new ways of learning? In this context, we have chosen “Youth as Catalysts in Social Change” as the topic of our National Seminar, Samprathi-2019. The aim of this seminar is to critically analyze the challenges and issues faced by youth and encourage their participation by providing ways to ignite their zeal for Nation Building which would immensely contribute to the social, economic, political, cultural and spiritual spheres of our Nation.
