Mangaluru: The students of the Department of Computer Applications of St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Vamanjoor, Mangaluru, won the overall runners-up award at the National Level IT Fest, SEMAPHORE-19, which was conducted by the Department of MCA, NMAMIT, Nitte on March 1-2, 2019.

A team consisting of 12 students from the Department of Computer Applications of SJEC participated in this National Level IT Fest and the team emerged as the overall runners-up.

The team secured the following prizes

Brill Brenhill, 1st place in IT Manager

Shrijith R and Poojary Harshitha Ashok, 2nd place in Mega Event

Jeethesh HK, 2nd place in Photography and Videography

Mahesh Bhat M, 2nd place in Web Designing
