Mangaluru: The Men’s Football Team of St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) bagged the runners up title at the VTU Inter Zone Football Tournament, held at the Siddaganga Institute of Technology (SIT), Tumkur, on March 24 and 25.

On the way to the battle for title of ‘champion’, SJEC won the first round against ACS College of Engineering (ACSCE), Bengaluru, quarter finals against Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT), Bengaluru, semi finals against Sir MVIT, Bengaluru and finals against Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT), Belagavi.

The management of SJEC is proud of this achievement and extends its congratulations to the team as well as the Department of Physical Education on their outstanding efforts.
