Mangaluru: Students of St Aloysius PU College (SAPUC) Jaagruthi Adka, Bhavani J, Thrisha Suvarna, Venus Lewis and Riyon Corda showcased their philatelic expertise at KARNAPEX 2024, the state-level competition held in Bengaluru.
The team earned a Vermeil medal for their outstanding exhibit, ‘The Royal Navy: Britain’s Grand Fleet,’ in the college entry category.
In the Individual category, Jaagruthi Adka secured a bronze medal for her “Olympics: The Birds Eye View” exhibit. During this special occasion, Jaagruthi received recognition from the Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka, Shri Thaawarchand Gehlot, for her outstanding contribution to designing the KARNAPEX 2024 logo. She was honoured with an award and a cash prize of ₹5,000.
