Mangaluru: A regional seminar on Quality Indicators in Health Care was organized by S.C.S College of Nursing Sciences on 6 Sep. 2023 at KAMC Auditorium.

The  programme commenced with a prayer song by nursing students followed by lighting the lamp.

Freeda D’Souza, Manager, Hospital Operations, Srinivas Hospital, Mukka was the Chief Guest and resource person for the seminar. Anil Kumar C.M, Vice Principal, welcomed the gathering.

Dr Abhinay Sorake, Secretary and presiding Officer, U K Khalid, Administrative Officer, Prof Lolita S.M D’souza, Principal, Prof. Ambika J R, Organizing Chairperson, and Shifali Jyoshna Bhagyan, Organizing Secretary were present.

The college has completed 30 successful years of imparting education and training in the field of Nursing. On the occasion the college Anthem was released by the chief guest Freeda D’souza. The students who had won in State Level SNA cultural and sports competitions were felicitated.

Rekith Pinto compered the programme.

The seminar started with a pre-test.

Freeda D’souza, delivered session on the topic Quality Accreditation and Certifications, Patient Safety Environment and Overview on NABH chapters. A post-test was conducted at the end of the session.

180 delegates were present. Certificates were distributed during the valedictory programme.

Shifali Jyoshna Bhagyan, Organsing Secretary, delivered the vote of thanks.
