Mangaluru: The Roman and Catherine Lobo School for the Blind celebrated their tenth anniversary and marked the start of a new decade with a programme held on Tuesday, January 14.
The chief guests of the programme were KIOCL Additional General Manager Roque D’Souza and Canara College Professor Dr Prashant Bhat. The event was inaugurated by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Following that, School Principal Calistus D’sa presented the academic report of the year.
Student Annapurna led the audience in prayer and faculty member Rashmi welcomed the gathering.
Addressing the gathering, chief guest D’Souza extended her full support to the school. After faculty member Renukadevi delivered the vote of thanks, students put up a cultural programme which involved music and dance. Faculty member Raghuram compered the event.
