Mangaluru: The Department of Periodontics in association with GYAN CDE cell conducted a one day Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme on “Changing concepts in implant dentistry combating surgical and restorative challenges” by Prof. Dr. D Arunachalam, the Principal of Priyadarshini Dental College, Chennai, on Friday, January 6 at the Auditorium of A.J Institute of Dental Sciences.

The guest speaker, Dr. D Arunachalam is a renowned periodontist & implantologist of india. He emphasized on the latest advances and surgical challenges in under-developed areas and their solutions for predictable success.

The organisers received over 107 registrations. Dr. Nandini Manjunath, Prof & HOD in Department of Periodontology welcomed the delegates. Dr. Shamila Shetty the Reader, Department of Periodontics introduced the guest speaker. Dr. Raghavendra Kini, Associate Principal, presented a momento & certificate as a token of appreciation to the guest speaker.
