Mangaluru: The Department of General Surgery, Father Muller Medical College, conducted Guest Lecture on July 27 at 3.00 – 4.30 p.m. at Hospital Conference Hall.

The programme began with prayer song. Dr. Leo Francis Tauro, Professor & HOD, Department of Surgery, welcomed the gathering.

Dr. Shivprasad, Gastroenterologist, A.J. Institute Institute of Medical Sciences, Kuntikan, Derebail delivered a Lecture on “Recent Advances in Gasteroenterology”.

Dr. Clement R.S. D’Souza, Professor & Unit Head, Department of Surgery and Dr. Ganesh M.K., Asst. Professor & Unit Head, Dept. of Surgical Gastroenterology have moderated the session.

Dr. Prathvi Shetty, Associate Professor, Department of Surgery proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was compiled by Dr. Sahanashree, final year Postgraduate Resident.

All Staff members and postgraduates from the Department of Surgery were present during the Guest Lecture. Total 45 delegates were attended the guest lecture.
