
Mangaluru: The Department of Journalism, St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangaluru organised a theatre workshop ‘Rangadarpana’ along with team Birugali (SAC drama) on 18 of August 2018 at Jeevandaan, Gurupura.
The resource person Durga Prasad, member of Journey Theatre Group, began the session with an ice breaker and performed a small play before the children. Around 3 theater games were taught to the children. At the end, the members of ‘Birugali’ team along with the resource person, enacted before the children.
During the valedictory, Mother Superior of Jeevandaan, Gurupura addressed the children and gave her positive opinion about the session and assured the encouragement of children into theatre.
St Aloysius College (Autonomous), always encourages the students to conduct such programmes. It has provided full-fledged infrastructure facilities in the college itself and the students can make the best use of it.
