Mangaluru: The Department of Dravyaguna, had organized a ‘Plant Grafting Technique’ Training Program at Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Naringana, Mangaluru (DK). Vasanth. N, Horticulture assistant and Garden in charge of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru was the Resource person.
The program was presided by the Principal of YAMCH, Dr Gururaja H. It was attended by the Gardeners of the Yenepoya University Campus and AYUSH Campus and the teaching staff. Vasanth. N explained and demonstrated the different methods of Plant Grafting Techniques like air layering, approach, budding, stone grafting, etc.
The Vice-Principal of YAMCH, Dr Sridhar Gokhale handed over the certificates to the resource person and trainees. The program was coordinated by Dr Asha Maradka, Professor and HOD, Dr Karishma, Professor and Dr Arundeep, Assistant Professor of the Dravyaguna department. Dr Asha Maradka was the Master of the Ceremony.
