Mangaluru: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, P. A. College of Engineering, conducted a two-day intercollegiate student workshop on Python Programming under GLUG PACE on August 27 and 28. Students from various colleges participated to acquire knowledge about the new technology.
The valedictory function was presided by Dean, Student Affairs, Dr A J Antony. Resource persons Ramaseshan, Aditya Saky, Abhinav Jha and Tanvi, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Dr. M Sharmila Kumari and Staff coordinator Prof. Mohammed Hafeez M K , were present on the dais.
Dr. A J Antony, Dean, Student Affairs, highlighted the advantages of conducting such events for students to build leadership quality along with the updating of technical knowledge. Ramseshan, a resource person from FSMK conveyed the message that problem solving techniques are important than programming languages. Dr. M Sharmila Kumari, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, advised the students to learn about future technologies for their better career in the competitive environment.
Krithi Shetty compered the programme, the welcome speech was given by Nikita and vote of thanks was delivered by Ilham Sheik.
