Mangaluru: An orientation on dengue outbreak and management in the district was held at St. Agnes College (Autonomous) on July 22 at 2 PM.

The programme was organised by the staff coordinators of NSS and Youth Red Cross, St. Agnes College. Around 100 students of NSS and YRC attended the programme. The programme began with a welcome speech by Jayashree, Staff Coordinator of Youth Red Cross.

Sr. Prathima, Ruth and Sona, students of Roshni Nilaya School of Social Work were the resource persons for the orientation programme. The programme comprised of two sessions. The first session focused on the highlights of the disease and its mode of transmission. During the second session, the speakers enlightened the audience on the prevention and management of the disease.

Ayisha Abdul Kader, Secretary, Youth Red Cross, proposed a vote of thanks.
