Mangaluru: The National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) has 44 years of excellence in promoting the HR profession in India and will be celebrating its Foundation Day on Friday, March 15 2024, at the Town Hall.
The theme for this year’s Foundation Day is ‘Back to Basics (B2B)‘.
Shri Anthony S Mariappa, IFS, Deputy Conservator of Forests, Government of Karnataka, will serve as the Chief Guest. The keynote address will be delivered by Shri Sandeep S P, Head of HR at Pratt and Whitney India Business.
A special highlight of the event will be the administration of the oath and honouring of Human Resource Management students who have recently enrolled as NIPM Student Members.
The objective of establishing student chapters with different Management Institutions in Mangaluru and Udupi is to provide real-time experience to students through guest lectures, HR Conclave, Summit, etc., as they transition from campus to corporate life.
This initiative will bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, offering students valuable insights and exposure to industry best practices.
Through these collaborations, NIPM aims to nurture and develop the next generation of HR professionals who are well-equipped to meet the evolving demands of the dynamic business environment.
The students from the following institutes will be administered the oath of the profession and honoured during the event:

– Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering (MITE)
