Mangaluru: The NAAC Peer Team visited St Aloysius Evening College, Mangaluru on August 30 and 31, as part of its 3rd cycle NAAC accreditation process.

Dr K. Mohammed Basheer, Vice Chancellor, University of Calicut, was the Chairperson while Dr Ajanta Rajkonwar, Dean, School of Commerce & Management Science, Dibrugarh University, Assam, was the Member Coordinator and Dr P. A. S. Naidu, Principal, D. B. Science College, Gondia, Maharashtra, was a Member.

The team witnessed a presentation by the Principal, Dr Manohar V. Serrao, met the heads of various departments and inspected all the relevant documentary evidence in connection with the Self Study Report.

They also interacted with all the stakeholders of the College like the parents, alumni, students and the Governing Council.

The NAAC team then took part in a meeting arranged by the IQAC, headed by Coordinator Dr Charles V. Furtado, and gave suggestions for quality enhancement.

After visiting the various infrastructural facilities and inspecting the pedagogical support systems, the team expressed its appreciation of the good work done by the College during the Exit Meeting.

Rev. Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ, Rector, St Aloysius College Institutions and Rev. Dr Praveen Martis SJ, Principal St Aloysius College Autonomous and Administrator SAEC were present on the occasion.
