Udupi: Mount Rosary English School, Santhekatte, Kallianpur bagged the first place in ‘Pratibhotsava – 2016’ at Udupi Dakshina Kannada High School level Talent Show organized by Milagres Pre-University College, Kallianpur here on Friday, December 2 held at Milagres Tri Centenary Hall, Kallianpur.

St. Mary’s English School, Udupi bagged the second place and Madhav Kripa Manipal won the third place.

Earlier, Pratibhotsava – 2016 was inaugurated by H. Divakar Shetty DDPI, Udupi district. Very Rev. Fr. Stany B. Lobo, Correspondent of Milagres Educational Institutions presided on the occasion. Manasi Sudheer Kodavoor Film Actress, ‘Nruthya Nikethana, Kodavoor; Dr. Gerald Pinto, Principal of Milagres College, Kallianpur; Rev Dr. Prakash Anil Castelino, Campus Director; Sri Vishnuprasad; Savitha Kumari, Principal of Milagres PU College and Co-ordinators Suresh Hegde, Reena Fernandes and Sathish Naik were present on the dais.

In his brief inaugural address, H. Divakar Shetty said that it would be important to organize such competitions which will improve talents and provide opportunity for students. I must appreciate the college management which organised this programme, he said.

Dr. Gerald Pinto, Rev Dr. Prakash Anil Castelino and Manasi Sudheer Kodavoor spoke on the occasion. Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo blessed the occasion and gave his presidential address.

Earlier, Savitha Kumari welcomed the gathering and Suresh Hegde proposed the vote of thanks. Loyleeta D’Souza beautifully compered the wonderful programme. As many as 17 school teams participated in the talents show programme.
