Mangaluru: The Departments of Social Work and Sociology, St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, jointly organized a Talk and Mime Show on “Suicide Prevention” on 24th September 2019 in Sanidhya Hall of the College. This awareness programme was organized to commemorate the World Suicide Prevention Month.

Mrs Ratna Pinto, volunteer at ‘SUSHEG’- a suicide helpline center, Mangaluru was the Guest Speaker. The occasion was graced by Dr. Denis Fernandes, Director  Admin Block, and Dr. Vishanz Pinto, Dean Faculty of Arts. The students put up a mime showcasing the causes of suicide both individual and social.

This was followed by an interactive session on awareness on prevention of Suicide by Mrs. Ratna Pinto, Suicide Lifeline volunteer at ‘SUSHEG’
