Mangaluru: As part of the year-long silver jubilee celebrations, Laxmi Memorial College of Physiotherapy organised a two-day inter-collegiate athletic meet.

Dr Kishore Kumar C K, Director of Physical Education, Mangalore University inaugurated the event.

At the culmination of the energetic meet, Laxmi Memorial College of Physiotherapy emerged victorious. NITTE Institute of Physiotherapy were the runners-up. Liann and Sudharshan from NITTE were selected as the Individual Men’s and Women’s Champions.

Students from 13 Physiotherapy colleges in and around Mangaluru participated in different events.

Ashritha P Shetty, Director Laxmi Memorial Educational Trust, Dr. Abhilash P V, PRO Laxmi Memorial Educational Trust, Dr. Sanjay Eapen Samuel Principal, Laxmi Memorial College of Physiotherapy and Harish Gowda Physical Education Director LMET were also present.
