Mangaluru: The Kanachur Hospital and Research Centre, Natekal, Mangaluru, held the opening ceremony of ‘Free Diabetic Health Check-Up Camp’ at the hospital premises today. The camp will be held from March 19 to 26.

Dr. Sudheendra Rao, Associate Professor General Medicine, K S Hegde Medical College inaugurated the programme. He spoke on the symptoms and the treatment for diabetes.

Haji U K Monu, Chairman, KIET, delivered the presidential address. He spoke on the importance of diabetes screening.

Abdul Rehman, Dr. Devi Prasad, Dr. Saron Rohan Monis, Dr. Ramegauda were present.

Mrs Deepa compered the programme and Dr. Prakash Harishchandra delivered the vote of thanks.
