Shivamogga: The inaugural of the “Image Processing and its Research Challenges” and “Construction Project Management” was held on July 23 at 9.30 AM in the MCA/ MBA Auditorium here.

Under the patronage of the National Education Society, Shivamogga, the departments of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Civil Engineering of Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering, Shivamogga in association with the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, New Delhi and the Indian Society for Technical Education, New Delhi is conducting a one-week faculty development programme (FDP) on “Image Processing and its Research Challenges” and “Construction Project Management” from July 23 to 27.

MLC S Rudre Gowda and M Muthuraju, Additional SP, Shivamogga were the chief guests of the function. The guests of honour were A S Vishwanatha, President, NES and S N Nagaraja, Secretary NES. Dr. H R Mahadevaswamy, Principal of JNNCE, presided over the inauguration in the presence of Dr. L K Sripathi, Vice-Principal of JNNCE.

This programme is organised for five days to provide a platform for faculties, researchers and technologists, to understand the concepts of Construction Project Management and Image Processing, and its research challenges to solve complex engineering problems.

Resource persons from distinguished research institutes, industries and colleges are here to deliver expert lectures and practical sessions.

This FDP is very useful for academicians from Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Information Science, Civil Engineering, industry personnel, researchers and allied disciplines.
