Intercollegiate fest ‘Psycritique 2017, held at St. Agnes College

Mangaluru: Psycritique – 2017, intercollegiate fest, under the aegis of the Psychology and English Departments of St. Agnes, Centre for Post Graduate studies and Research was held on the 10th February, 2017 for the UG and PG students of various colleges.Dr. Hima Urmila Shetty S., Retd. Associate Professor of the Dept. of English, St. Agnes College (Autonomous), was the Chief Guest for the occasion. Her key note address had the essence of the rate of rising violence and how it can be resisted by integrating sensitivity (Psychology) and sensibility (Literature). Sr. Dr. M. Venissa AC, Vice Principal, HOD Dept. of Economics St. Agnes College presided over the event. Sr. Marie Evelyn AC, St. Agnes PG College Coordinator also graced us with her presence.

Competitions held included Paper presentations, Documentary, Quiz, in which 6 colleges participated. The overall championship was won by School of Social Work RoshniNilaya (PG), Mangalore and the runners up trophy was bagged by MGM College Udupi.
Staff conveners – Psychology and English Ms. Sarah Crasta and Mrs. Ruba Harris respectively and student conveners – Psychology and English Miss. Jacqueline Sarah and Miss. Dalsy Dominic respectively, were present for the valedictory program.
