The vast syllabus of NEET often tends to put pressure upon the students, and because of this, the students must efficiently balance every concept and topic without having much confusion. Also, it is a smart move to make preparations way ahead of the announcement of dates, because it has a high level of competition. For easy reference, a candidate can follow the NEET Biology Important Questions with Solutions, for making their concepts crystal clear and get an idea regarding the questions. A candidate must be determined enough to score him/her a seat and should work hard towards their goal. As there are only a limited number of seats available, hence it is necessary to work hard and have a competitive mindset, in order to crack NEET.

Some of these are:

1. Being aware of the syllabus: The syllabus for NEET includes concepts from class 11th and 12th, which has been already studied by the candidates during their Higher Secondary Boards examination. But, it has been seen that during the boards, many of the candidates prefer to skip some of the chapters which would generally come with less weightage. But in order to crack NEET, one must be well aware of the syllabus and should strictly follow it in order to make their preparations effective.
2. Follow a Timetable: It is often necessary to have a well-constructed timetable, which would efficiently balance all the elements such as study, mealtime, exercise, etc. so as to keep the balance between hard work and health. With so much competition in NEET and a limited number of seats in medical colleges, it is necessary that a candidate follows the timetable strictly so that they do not get confused and stay positive towards the examination. Moreover, the timetable helps to solve the last-minute hassle, which results in de-motivation amongst the students thereby affecting their preparation and performance.  But, it is also necessary to ensure that the timetable is constructed in such a way that is practically applicable, and must devote enough time to each and every subject.
3. Efficient note-making: To make effective preparations, it is necessary to have proper notes, as this helps to simplify the learning process. Efficient note-making is necessary to have a proper understanding of each and every concept, and also this helps more during the revision process. self-made notes are the most helpful notes, as these are prepared by a candidate themselves based on their understanding of the concepts and topics.
4. Revise daily: As being said, “Revision is the key to success”; thus it is necessary to revise regularly in order to have better retention of the topics as well as build a crystal clear foundation of each topic. Moreover, revision helps in time management as more practice leads to keeping a better track of time. Revision is also helpful in a way that it helps to analyze one’s strengths and weaknesses. Thus, he/she can get a better idea of their weakness and emphasize more on improving in the areas they lag behind.
5. Take mock tests: During NEET, one has to appear for 180 questions within 180 minutes. This means that they have got only a minute allotted for each question. Thus, it is necessary to have proper time management. In order to get acquainted with the type of questions and improve time management, it is necessary to practice sample questions as well as attend mock tests regularly. This will help in assessing one’s own level of preparation and provide them with the opportunity to improve in the areas they are weak.

Hence, in order to secure a seat, a candidate must work hard enough for his/her goal. It is crucial to have determination as well as positivity, so as to prepare well for such an examination with a high level of competition. This attitude of the candidate towards the examination determines his/her fate regarding their results. 

Moreover, it has been often observed that the NEET candidates tend to make mistakes, which must be avoided as much as possible. Also, referring to NCERT is the smartest decision as about 70% of the questions are provided from NCERT textbooks. 

In order to keep a healthy body along with a hard-working mind, it is recommended to have meals full of nutrients which would keep them active and also keep their brain energized during the study hours. 

As revising and practising sample questions will do the mental exercise; so it is necessary to have it balanced with physical exercises too. One can practice yoga to keep themselves focused and also their body healthy.
