Mangaluru: The student Association for the year 2018-19 was inaugurated at the Father Muller Homeopathic Medical College, Deralakatte on June 1.

In his presidential address, Rev. Fr. Richard Aloysius Coelho, Director, Father Muller Charitable Institutions, asked the students to be like the yeast that transforms the tough dough. “Transform yourself and others”, he said and reminded the office bearers of their duties and responsibilities.

Dr. A R Shabaraya, Principal of Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Valachil and the chief guest of the programme urged the students to exhibit professionalism in their career and to join hands to build a healthy society.

Rev. Fr. Vincent Vinod Saldanha, Administrator of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College administered the oath to the office bearers and wished them all the best for the upcoming year.

Dr. Girish Navada, Staff Advisor Students’ Association welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest to the audience whereas Dr. Shivaprasad K, Principal declared the names of the new office bearers of the Students’ Association 2018-19 and handed over the badges.

M Upendranath, former president of Students’ Association delivered the farewell speech and the new president Nandan Krishna gave his acceptance speech. Maria J Abraham, General Secretary, Students’ Association, proposed a vote of thanks.
