Puttur: A farewell function was organized by the Department of Physics of St Philomena College Puttur in honour of the retiring Lab Assistant Cyril Moras on April 18 at the college auditorium.
The correspondent of the College Rev. Fr Alfred J Pinto delivered the farewell message in which he praised the selfless and dedicated service of Cyril Moras for 43 years as lab assistant.

Moras was honoured and felicitated with shawl, garland, fruits, memento by the correspondent.
     
On this occasion, Former Chairman, Department of Physics of Mangalore University Prof. Prakash P Karat participated as the chief guest.  

The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha, former HOD of Physics Prof. Suresh Rao N, Campus Director Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro and the Principal of St Philomena PU College Rev. Fr Vijay Lobo participated as the guests of honour.
     
Prof. Revathi welcomed the gathering. The HOD of Physics Dr. A P Radhakrishna introduced Cyril Moras.  Prof. Maithili proposed the vote of thanks. Ananya compered the programme.
