Mangaluru: To bring in a sense of awareness among people on eye care and eye donation, Sandesha Foundation joint ventured with UExcel  Mangalore, here on September 2.

Ivan D’Souza  MLC, was invited as the chief guest. Dr. Hrishikesh  Amin of K. S. Hegde Hospital invited people to pledge for the eye donation, to help the needy to live his/her life. Savitha Salian gave tip on eye care and Devika Purushottam spoke on yogic eye care. Founder of Sauharda Co-operative Bank George Fernandes and Madhav bhat Hindustani vocalist and violinist from the Sandesha foundation were felicitated.

Mrs Maria D’Costa, director U Excel Mangalore, welcomed the gathering and Rev Fr Nelson Dalmeida, Director, Sandesha Foundation, Mangalore proposed vote of Thanks.  Mrs Vani Rajgopal, the Staff of Sandesha foundation, along with her Students performed bharatanatyam dances which thrilled the audience. Mr Deeraj D’Costa and Ms Sanjana Bhat compered the programme.
