Ajman(UAE): Dr Edmond Fernandes has been appointed as Adjunct Lecturer of Community Medicine at the College of Medicine, Gulf Medical University, Ajman, UAE.
Dr Fernandes is the Founder and CEO, CHD Group and Chief Coordinator – MPH Programme, Department of Public Health, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University).
This is in accordance with the Commission for Academic Accreditation, Ministry of Education, United Arab Emirates.
Dr Fernandes has impacted over 3 million lives through his work in community medicine and public health.
He has to his credit 3 books, 21 research publications and more than 250 articles written in the national and international media.
Additionally, he also serves as Honorary Director at the Edward and Cynthia Institute of Public Health (ECIPH) in Mangalore and is an Alumnus of the US State Department.
