Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada Chapter of Association of Physicians of India, in association with Department of Medicine of Father Muller Medical College and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bangalore, are organising E-CON API DK- 2020, a state level E-conference for postgraduates and physicians on December 12 and 13.

This is a first-of-its-kind event, which will be a platform for scientific paper and poster presentations for postgraduates to fulfil the requirements of NMC (earlier MCI) for eligibility to take University examinations.

This conference is recognized by the Karnataka Medical Council with credit points and by the RGUHS.

There will be scientific sessions, symposiums and competitive scientific paper presentations. Speakers of national and international repute will be delivering lectures during the two-day event.

More than 350 delegates and postgraduates have registered for the conference not only from Karnataka but also from other states like Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Odisha, Bihar, and Kerala.

Dr. Sacchidananda, Vice Chancellor RGUHS, will be the chief guest and will deliver the inaugural speech on December 12. Rev. Fr. Ajith Menezes, Administrator FMMC & Dr. JP Alva, Dean FMMC, will be guests of honour.

Dr. Venkatesha B.M, Organising Chairman E-CON API DK- 2020 and President API DK Chapter, Dr. R Arunachalam, Chairman scientific committee E-CON API DK- 2020 and HOD, Department of General Medicine, Dr. Archana Bhat, Organising Secretary E-CON API DK- 2020 and Secretary API DK Chapter will be present.
