Mangaluru: Alwyn Stephen Misquith, Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics of St Aloysius College (Autonomous), was awarded his PhD Degree from Mangalore University for his thesis titled – “Women Workers in Informal Sector: A Case Study of Dakshina Kannada District”.

Dr Jayavantha Nayak, Head of the Department of Economics, University College, Mangaluru ably guided him.

He is the proud son of Basil Misquith and Cecilia Misquith of Kallamundkuru, Moodubidire.
